PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Jacob Stallings hit a two-run home run, Jesús Sánchez also went deep and the Miami Marlins beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 on Friday night to open a three-game series.Bryan De La Cruz added a pair of hits for Miami, a half-game behind Arizona for the third and final wild-card spot in the National League. Rescue crews took a worker to the hospital after he was injured on the job in Sweetwater.Sweetwater Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to a call of a near electrocution along Southwest First Street and 104th Avenue, at around 10 a.m., Friday.Upon arrival, first responders found the victim unconscious.Investigators said the subcontracted line worker was servicing local power lines when he was shocked by live wires.Paramedics transported the patient to an area hospital in critical condition.Earthquake in Morocco kills at least 296 people, government reports

RABAT, Morocco (AP) — A powerful earthquake that struck Morocco late Friday night killed at least 296 people, the country’s Interior Ministry said.Moroccans posted videos showing buildings reduced to rubble and dust and parts of the famous red walls that surround the old city in historic Marrakech, a UNESCO World Heritage site, damaged.
