But, come afternoon, we'll be seeing some rain and more cloud coverage with temperatures climbing into the 50s, according to Meteorologist Jill Szwed. Police at the time shut down all lanes to investigate, diverting traffic. The crash is still under investigation. Also, police are investigating two separate shots fired incidents that happened in Troy Sunday evening. Police are still looking to determine if the shootings are related. CHARLES, Mo. – The family of a missing woman found dead last week in Maryland Heights are planning to lay her to rest.Jacquelyn Mitchell's sister, Tiffany, said her family is processing this devastating loss one day at a time. She wants “Jacque” to be remembered as a good person and a friend to everyone."She loved everybody. She was the life of the party. You could be at the end of a family event, she'd be the last one there,” Tiffany said. “She was such a sweet and caring person, would not hurt a soul. So this whole thing is just, it's tragic. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The city of Ferguson will swear in its latest police chief later Monday. Ferguson has had multiple chiefs in recent years, and the newest top cop is no stranger to controversy.The new chief, Troy Doyle, will be at the Ferguson Police Department. He's a former lieutenant colonel with the St. Louis County Police Department, who spent more than 30 years on that force before recently retiring.Doyle served in many capacities during his time with the St. Louis County Police, but also sued St. Louis County, after being passed over for the St. Louis County Police chief's job in 2020. That suit alleging discrimination and retaliation is still pending. A mix of clouds and sun the rest of the day and cooler, with temperature highs in the low 50s. Clouds take over again Monday night, wake up temps are in the mid to upper 30s. Watching for some spots of light rain again Tuesday morning, especially south of St. Louis. Otherwise, it's set to be partly sunny and temp highs near 50. It's going to be a dry Tuesday through early Thursday before we have to worry about our next storm system. ST. LOUIS - A 19-year-old man was shot while driving on I-70 Saturday night.It happened before 11:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-70 at the Broadway exit. The teenager said he was approaching the exit when he heard the gunshots, saw his window shatter, and felt a pain in his arm.
